Sightseeing

A great beach to explore. I recommend going on a minus tide and walking north to find the the sea caves and waterfalls. There are also some fun cliff faces for bouldering and rock climbing.

This is a great beach for those days with a stiff Northwind. The beach is more protected from the breeze than others. Also our favorite beach to hang a hammock. We actually swim here on nice days. The water is very chilly and you have to mind the tide. There is good tidepooling scrabble over the rooks to the east. There are two ways down to the beach easy and long and short and hard. The long easier path starts behind Murphy’s market. The short and hard route starts at the intersection of Trinity and Edwards St. The short and hard has a steep 220ish stairs and a short 20’ scramble just off the beach. The views are great though.
