Within walking distance from the cottage (1 mile) and taxi home should be around £3-4, 3 local pubs, and the humble onion restaurant. There is also a fantastic Kebab, Indian and Chinese takeaway here.

A new and exciting mixture of restaurants to include Michelin award James summering , bars and shops.
Also the Hang fire Kitchen barbecue themed restaurant, they have been on telly but I cant remember their names (sorry!)
There is ample parking situated behind the pump house.

A lovely place to eat, apparently the 'on the rocks' restaurant is lovely, views are across the channel and if the tide is out Sully Island can be walked out to.

Sightseeing
A very nice stroll, you can travel by car or is within walking distance from the cottage, there is a footpath at the side of the Breechs house on Cross Common Road (2 doors up) follow this through to the road go left around the bend and then first right you are then at the top of cosmeston.

Twmcyn Woods and the Mill woods along with what's known as the Salmon Leaps walk is not for the faint hearted but fantastic walks and views.
