The trendy Lowertown Arts District of Paducah is one of the most desirable neighborhoods full of art galleries, shops, and historic homes. It is a neighborhood full of friendly, fun people only a few blocks walk or drive to Broadway Street and all the downtown shops and restaurants. Street festivals like the Lowertown Arts Festival and Barbecue on the River are just steps from my front door.

This restaurant is about 45 minutes away near the lakes area but is well worth the drive- especially during the holiday season. It is actually more of an 1880s settlement with a gift store and other things from the era. The restaurant is a popular destination during the holiday months because they decorate with lights and trees.

This is an escape room over by the mall that usually has 3-4 different escape games you can choose from. Some of them are kid-friendly while others are adult oriented. You have an hour to figure out all the clues and try to escape from the room. You will need to buy tickets before you go over there. If you are by yourself, you can get them to pair you up with another group.

This large park has a lake with ducks. There is an area set up as a playground for children. At Christmas time they have a gorgeous light show you can drive through in the park.
