Places for Pets
This place is a great park with or without a dog. I go there for the dog park. Separated into five sections if your dog gets overwhelmed by too many dogs. Baylors favorite section has a big hill and a lot of trees. Outside of the dog park itself is a stream that Baylor loves to cool off in.
It is muddy during the winter, and dusty during the summer so wear good shoes.

This place is maybe 3-5 minutes from the house, so it is convenient for getting some energy out. I’ve never met an unfriendly dog at this park, it is generally less busy and quiet.

Sightseeing
By far my favorite hike in the area, the waterfall at the top is so satisfying! Dogs are allowed. The beginning has some switch backs, which is the worst part of the whole hike. After all switch backs the hike is mostly shaded by trees, but it still gets hot during the summer if you’re hiking in the middle of the day. The hike can get crowded during the summer, especially weekends, but it’s still worth the experience.

It is pricey, I’d expect to spend about $50 for 2 people here. BUT it is so good! We go here just on special occasions like birthday and anniversaries but the waitress still remembers our names. Private and cozy when you sit in the booths
