No vacation to Curacao is complete without at least one visit to the historic Willemstad waterfront. Art galleries, museums, dinning, sightseeing and shopping are located within walking distance of each other.
Christoffel National Park is Curacao's premier national park. The park is divided into two halves. One half the "mountain loop" which is a driving tour including a number of sightseeing stops including an abandoned plantation house, an abandoned (and failed) copper mine, and the starting point for the climb to the peak of Mount Christoffel The other half is a driving and walking tour of the beach side including stops at caves, petroglyphs, the ocean, and view points. Plan for about 4 hours and bring plenty of water and sunscreen.

Playa Forti was the sight of a Dutch fort in the 1600's. It now has two restaurants, concrete steps down the cliff to the beach and is a favorite for local youth to cliff jump.
