Bicycles are the best way to explore Hoi An old town
Hoi An is a small place and is explored best with bicycles. The old town or ancient town has all the main attractions of Hoi An. It has restrictions on the entrance of motorbikes and other vehicles. However, walking and cycling are always allowed.
If you're staying at one of my bnbs - either Anh Family Homestay or Sol's Villa Hoi An, we will provide you bicycles and you can easily explore both the beach and the old town from the bnbs.

Don't miss the Coconut Village!
The Cam Thanh village, or coconut village, is not as popular as other activities in Hoi An though it's my absolute favorite and I'm sure you'll love it too! The boat rides take you through the coconuts growing at water level and they also do amazing tricks on the boat to keep you entertained!

Avoid mini-marts that sell products at tourist prices
Most mini-marts in old town add a "tourist tax" on all their products. To be safe, you can look for Vinmart. If you're staying at Sol's Villa, there's a Vinmart right opposite the main road as you enter the alley.
