We love that their tours are artist led and that they introduce you to the RAD in an intimate way. They also offer Experience Tours if you are interested in not only appreciating great art but making it.

Blue Ridge Parkway - Hikes and Scenic Overlooks
This hike offers the most breathtaking views of any hikes we've tried. It took us about 1 hour up to the knob where all the views are. Make sure you bring rain gear as rain is a common occurrence here.

It is a 2 hours drive from our home...if it were closer we'd probably hike it often. Giant boulders, small streams, and epic long range views make this a very memorable spot.
This State Park is a bit expensive but the views are quite spectacular and the wildlife habitats are fun to see.
