Drive up the memorial highway to the mountain entrance. Walk though a long tunnel into Whiteface Mountain, and ride the elevator to the top where you can see the entire Adirondacks and Vermont, or walk up to the summit via the stone stairway that wraps around the side of the mountain. Shop and eat lunch in the Castle.

There are free concerts in the park and a farmers market every week. We also have a verity of cafe's and cool downtown shops that L. Placid doesn't offer.
