Palace
“"Schönbrunn Palace was the main summer residence of the Habsburg rulers, located in Hietzing, Vienna. The 1,441-room Rococo palace is one of the most important architectural, cultural, and historic monuments in the country. Since the mid-1950s it has been a major tourist attraction." (Source: Wikipedia) Honestly even if you don't feel like visiting another museum, just going there and have walk around in the gardens on a sunny day is lovely way to spend your time. I highly recommend to go there with children, they get to dress up as knights and princesses while visiting the children museum. ”

Science Museum
“this is the technical Museum. It is very close to the appartment, and the building itself is worth a look (inside and out). They have a lot of great current exhibits plus very old technical supplies that always make me smile. Its quite big, maybe for a rainy day, or if you are into it like me ;)”

“Gourmet Napolitana Pizza in Vienna! Disco Volante is Italian, right down to the cutlery. The variety is simple and so are the pizza recipes, however, in simplicity, plenty of flavour is found.”

“Unassuming from the outside, its mint green door is the only clue to its existence. This hipster hangout in an Austrian Gasthaus’ body has earned its fame in the last couple of years for its generous weekend breakfasts. Once inside, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. It’s an Aladdin’s cave of dark wooden panelled walls, and slightly mismatched, but homely, furniture. And if you like the cosy interior, you’ll love the Schanigarten. Enclosed by an inner courtyard, it feels like an escape from the world outside. The sun also hits it perfectly in the morning. Occasionally, there are also live music acts held here in the evenings throughout the week.”
