“One of my personal favorites after I swim at Bataria beach mentioned in this guide. Try the platter of assorted seafood along with a Greek salad and you cant go wrong.”

“Kassiopi Castle is a castle on the northeastern coast of Corfu overseeing the fishing village of Kassiopi, and was one of three castles which defended the island before the Venetian era (1401–1797). The castles formed a defensive triangle, with Gardiki guarding the island’s south, Kassiopi Castle the northeast and Angelokastro the northwest.”

“The impressive turquoise waters which lap up the shore are surrounded by flat rocks which make up Bataria Beach, one of the most picturesque beaches on Corfu. The breathtaking hills on the distant horizon create a magical setting, while the Albanian mountains towering on the other side look stunning from a distance. The best part about Bataria Kassiopi is its cleanliness, as it is spotless thus very inviting. You can hire sunbeds and umbrellas here and there are also some watersports. This area is perfect for you to unleash your inner photographer.”

“The long sandy beaches of Kalamaki & Aproas. You’ll see various turns down to these beaches as you drive along the coastal road towards Kassiopi. The beach has shallow water out to about 30-40 metres and due to their size often not too crowded relative to the times of year, so feels spacious. A few tavernas are at hand when you fancy a bite to eat. ”

“Kassiopi is quite a lively village harbour, you can visit the old fort which is located on a path to the left just before the main harbour. There are bars and places to eat, ATM’s + a number of shops. There’s Limani Bar, which looks over the harbor. Restaurants include Uncle Simos (ask for Lena) Tabernaki or Petrino,. The Grill & Chill souvlaki bar is good for a simple inexpensive lunch (Giros) …and The Old School/Three Brothers is also a good local taverna (ask for Fondos or Varvara.) From the centre there’s an attractive coastal walk, passing by one or two beautiful beaches, Batteria is our favourite & there are places where you can sit & swim off the rocks.”
