“If you visit Tauranga a visit to Mount Maunganui is a must! Walking around the base track is nice and easy and will take you around 45mins. If you walk up you will be rewarded with stunning views over the city. It will take you around 40mins to walk up but you can reward yourself afterwards with a gelato from Monte Gelato, coffee at one of the many excellent cafes or a healthy smoothie bowl from Revive. ”

“Amazing night walk, didn’t expect too much from walking high in the trees however it was surprisingly impressive and really fun. Recommend this on the “to do list” for Rotorua. One thing to note was those in wheelchairs wouldn’t be able to fully experience the high walk also carrying children is not allowed. ”

“This thermal park has great walks and mountain bike tracks as well as the natural hot pools. The pools have recently been upgraded and there are lockers available as well as a container type cafe available. Do use the lockers provided as this area is a spot where lots of things have been reported stolen. This is a cool little spot to experience the natural hot water pools.”
