This is a lovely garden floor apartment in a turn-of-the-last-century brick townhouse. The apartment has been renovated in a more modern style with a great open layout. The separate bedroom has french doors that provide privacy, and a decorative non-working fireplace. The kitchen is fully functional with stainless GE range and dishwasher, a full size refrigerator, and all the basic utensils you need to make a meal. Control your own central heat and a/c. We have cable TV and a small library of diverse reading. The patio is small (about 7' x 10'), but has a small cafe table and two chairs. (Patio may be unusable during periods of snowfall.) A laundry room in the basement is for the exclusive use of our guests.
There is a good-sized bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a full closet. A fold-down sofa in the living room functions as a full-sized bed (very firm mattress). We provide linens for both. We also have a small travel crib (29" x 20" interior dimensions) and a Bumbo booster seat we can make available to guests with infants. There is a full bath with stand-up shower (no tub). The kitchen is at the back of the unit and includes a range, fridge and dishwasher. The patio is accessed through the kitchen (up two steps) and has a small cafe table and two chairs (please see house rules regarding use of the patio).
The entrance to the apartment is at the ground-floor level (two steps down). The patio is accessed through the kitchen (up two steps) and has a small cafe table and two chairs (please see house rules regarding use of the patio). We have a smartlock system which allows for self-check in if guests are arriving at a time when we are unable to greet them.
