It is very important to park your car in front of our home only. We can usually accommodate at least three cars there. Please no loud sound (shouting, slamming car doors) on the street in respect to our neighbors.
We live in a community of full-time residents and this is our home. Out of respect to neighbors, we ask that no loud music be played outdoors. City ordinance does not allow noise or music past the property line. Quiet time after 10pm. No smoking. Plastic glassware is provided and only plastic must be used outdoors on the patio and at the pool.
Please clear your open food and trash from the outdoors when you are done.
We want you to enjoy your stay in this beautiful oasis. Downtown nightlife is close for fun and the guest house is your retreat.
We cannot accept children or pets. No smoking.

My husband Bill and I love to travel, and enjoy hosting fellow travelers in our home.
Being a host on airbnb has brought the world to us and we have made some good friends. Being a guest ourselves has given us the unique experience of staying in someone's home too and feeling like more of a local.
Bill is an art director/filmmaker and photographer and makes great pizza. I (Louise) love books, boots, laying on the grass cloud-watching, cooking, entertaining and shopping at the local organic farmer's market. I love to paint and create and am currently writing a cookbook memoir.
I am from Dublin, Ireland and moved to California to the sun many moons ago. Bill is from Chicago and moved to California in the 70's. We moved from LA to Palm Springs for a quieter lifestyle and the desert's stunning, raw beauty. We feel connected to nature and the rhythm of life here. Rising with the sun and gazing at the moon at night.
We like to cycle into town for coffee, hanging with friends, taking road trips, swimming in the pool, movies, theater and all that Palm Springs has to offer. We love the desert, winter and summer, for each season's particular flavor and like the fact we live so close to Joshua tree for camping and star watching. Its a wonderland here in Spring with all the wild flowers popping up out of the parched earth.
