If you're looking for a private, peaceful, and cozy home-base for adventure, this is it. You can return to the 1000 sq ft cabana after your epic days spent exploring the surrounding natural wonders, cook a nice meal in the well-appointed kitchen if that's your thing, and relax by a crackling fire. Or watch the sunset from the west-facing, covered deck. Peruse the reference library of field guides and identify that bird, lizard or critter you saw. The house sits on two, mostly undeveloped acres.

I've lived and worked as a wilderness guide in southern Utah for 16 years. I value: self-reliance, kindness, tolerance, respect, honesty, doing more with less and recognizing and taking responsibility for one's impact near and far. And laughter. I place a premium on laughter. Slapstick, satire, gallows humor--dig it.
I've been blessed to have lived abroad and traveled all over the world, but I have to say these days my favorite destinations are the desert canyons and sub-alpine meadows right in my "backyard". Hopefully you'll enjoy them, too!
