I originally booked this apartment because of its proximity to Aristotle University and to the city center. I am so happy for this choice! The apartment looks even better than the photos! Fully equipped, very tastefully decorated, and at the same time gives you a "home" feeling.
Kostas is a fantastic host. Very quick to respond, so very welcoming, and a really positive person. I was welcomed with a bottle of red wine, home made cheese and bread, and il barbiere di siviglia playing on the cd! There was also home made marmalade in the fridge, and home made shampoo in the bathroom! This was an overall great experience, I would gladly stay in the apartment again! Thank you Kostas for being such a great host!
I felt very very comfortable, welcomed and at home in Kostas' flat! I will definitely stay at Kostas' place again!
Kostas is a great person. I had a lot of fun with him while he was showing me this vibrant city with an amazingly rich and culturally diverse history (for an additional fee of 30 Euro, which was totally worth it).
The listing description of the flat is accurate.
The flat was perfectly clean and had everything I needed and even more! Starting from the essentials like hair dryer, slippers in different sizes or automatic heating system and ending with the amazing gourmet food (like delicious cheese or self-made bread and liqueur) that had already waited for me in the well equipped kitchen space. Not to mention the juice oranges, Greek wine, self-made amazing jams, Greek coffee, tee, etc.!
The flat is on the top floor with a nice urban view from the balcony that gets sun in the morning and during the day. In the evenings it was rainy, so no sun was visible :)
The only issue that occurred during my stay was a defect of the warm water system. Kostas, however, responded very quickly and we found a solution.
To sum up, I can definitely recommend to stay at Kostas' place and if you don't know Thessaloniki well to let Kostas guide you through its history and show you around.
As always, great host! Amazing apartment in a very good central location, clean and cosy! Kostas provided some amazing local self-made goodies for us to taste. Ευχαριστούμε!
Kostas was welcoming and very accommodating as to check-in and check-out times. He even greeted us with his own homemade delicious bread and wine. His apartment is in a great location -- very close to central sites and anything you might need but still relatively quiet. There is a bakery on one corner, a grocery store on the other, and a parking garage right next door where you can park for 10 euros per night if you can't manage to find a spot on the street. The apartment was prepared with clean bedding and towels and the kitchen was stocked for basic cooking needs. The wifi worked perfectly. The apartment is on the top floor. There is an elevator. Also, the balcony is large and totally charming -- a perfect place to relax! I highly recommend it to anyone!
Accueil très chaleureux avec quelques produits à disposition (vin, fromage, légumes...). L'appartement est très bien placé et conforme aux photos !
My friends and I stayed at Kostas' place for two nights and it was really great! The apartment is immaculately clean and very comfortable, situated basically in the centre of Thessaloniki (around 15min by foot to Aristotelus Square) in a good, quiet neighbourhood. We had everything we needed in the flat: clean towels, Wifi, efficient heating system, coffee, tea, even homemade bread, cheese and a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived exhausted and hungry. Everything functions perfectly in the apartment, there is literally nothing that we didn't like or that we wished for. Kostas is a wonderful host-picking us up from the airport when we first arrived, explaining everything that we wanted to know, always available and friendly. The apartment has a lovely little terrace, which is convenient for the smokers. Also, there is an excellent, budget restaurant just across the street as well as a bakery, some supermarkets and a taxi station near by. The entire experience was amazing and if we ever come back to Thessaloniki, we will definitely stay again at this charming place. Needless to say, I highly recommend it to other travelers; it is really value for the money, and more!

From the shorefront of the Thermaikos bay to high up on the mountains of the region and back down to the plains, the area of Thessaloniki is home of many famous wines. In the mountainous parts of the region, on the southeast slope of Vertiskos, just before the traditional settlement of Ossa, the vineyards are stretched amidst clumps of oak, beech and chestnut trees. Alongside the vineyards, sites of archeological interest, exquisite churches, monasteries and museums await for the demanding traveller.
The Thessaloniki Route wineries are: Domaine Gerovassiliou in Epanomi and the Babatzimopoulos’ winery in Ossa Lagada.
Price per person: 70 euros.
