Cosy, pet-friendly annex on our secluded free-hold in the beautiful countryside of Kent, located just 10 minutes from the Channel Tunnel and 20 minutes from Dover Ferry Port. Wake up to the sound of Bertie the rooster announcing a new day! Relax in the hammock watching Dudley the donkey or enjoy a brisk country walk along the many public footpaths in our area - perfect for dog walkers. If you fancy a day trip, you can be in London within an hour or Canterbury in 20 minutes.
- Leave our little cottage as you found it....and enjoy your stay! We love animals and have quite a few. You are welcome to visit them but treat them kindly. If you do bring a dog, and he/she gets on with ours, they can play in our large dog-proof garden. If he/she doesn't get on with ours we'll need to coordinate. Our first priority is your pets enjoyment and safety so if you would like your dog to play with ours, please let us know and we'll arrange introductions. All three of our dogs (two female and one male) are spayed/neutered and generally kind and gentle. They are used to socialising with dogs outside their little group and enjoy it but whereas the females are small/medium sized dogs our male is big so we'll keep him away from yours until we can see your dog feels comfortable around him.
- We realise that our dogs (rough collies) bark so let us know if you plan a nap or just quiet time and we'll bribe them with chewy bones (and keep them out of the garden).
- For many reasons we don't want anyone smoking anywhere on the grounds. That means that if you do want to smoke you'll have to go outside our main entrance gate (remember to clean up the stubs). We're a bit funny about smoking but one of us has had lung surgery so please don't smoke on our premises.
Hello, I'm Guy! My wife and I look forward to being hosts and also being hosted on our travels. I'm a civil servant and she's a Doctor and we're both animal lovers! We love walking our three collies ... Some times our cat comes along with us! We have peacocks, chicken and geese. Our rabbits are as free range as are our birds and sometimes it gets a little hectic when we put the animals away for the night. Our horse and donkey are of the gentle straw-hat variety and we love just watching them munch or snooze.
