Tacquaya I'm sorry that you and your man had a bad experience. You tried to check in at 4am in the morning, and check in wasn't until 3pm. What was supposed to do for you? Unfortunately you thought INSTANT BOOKING meant that you could CHECK IN INSTANTLY after you made the reservation at 4am and that was not the case. There was another Airbnb guest who was in the apartment and checkout for them wasn't until 10am that same day. So of course the key and lockbox would not be placed outside until it was time to check in. You could have simply waited for the correct time to check in at 3pm or you could have asked me for an earlier check in and if my guest had been checked out early I would have gladly allowed you and your guest to check in. Were you expecting me to kick out my guest so that you and your guest could check in early? This is something you should have known being that you have used Airbnb before. Again, I'm sorry this happened to you but there was nothing I could do. I have to respect all the rights of all of my guests at all times and it wasn't time for you to check in. I did offer you guys the opportunity to cancel the reservation and if I had rebooked it I told you I would have given you a full refund. Other than that there was nothing more I could have done. I'm sorry if you had a misunderstanding with Airbnb but you didn't have to give me a bad review just because you didn't understand the Airbnb policy and things didn't go your way for a mistake that you made.
