A traditional house in brick and stone ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) sq feet) contemporary interior decor with a large garden. On the ground floor there is 1/ a large living room with an American kitchen 2/ a large bedroom with a queen-size double bed 3/a bathroom with a bath. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a queen-size double bed, and the other with two single beds. There is also a relaxation room between the two bedrooms and a toilet.
Situated between Etretat et Le Havre (13km to Etretat, 11 mins; 19km to Le Havre, 25 mins), 40 minutes from Honfleur, an hour away from Deauville and two hours from Paris.
There is a garden for playing in and eating outside (weather permitting!).
It is equipped with a washing-machine, dishwasher, gas cooker, fridge-freezer. Unlimited wi-fi
The large sofa in the living-room folds out as a sofa-bed - the mattress is suitable for daily use.
The downstairs bathroom has a bath, wc, and a washhand basin.
The house is not at all suitable for young children (under ten), nor for the elderly because the stairs that links the two floors is very steep and the access to the stairs from upstairs is not protected. We want to get a winding staircase but don't have the funds yet!
You will have access to
- a private garden
- a barbecue
- individual parking (outside)
- sheets, duvets, towels
- heating is included in the rent (floor heating in the living room, radiators in bathroom and the bedrooms
St Jouin beach is a stony beach at high tide and sandy at low tide. During the summer lots of families use it because it is one of the rare sandy beaches on this coast. It is also ideal for nautical sports - it is equipped with a ramp from the parking site.
In July and August there is a "point plage" - they rent windsurf material, canoes, catamarans and funboats. For people who rent nautical equipment they provide surveillance. And at prices I've never seen anywhere else - 9 to 12 euros an hour, and 3 euros on Thursdays! Classes are also available.
