Hello! I live on Cape Cod and enjoy sharing my cozy home, quaint village, and the Cape's coastal beauty and relaxed lifestyle with others. Having traveled solo and with friends, I've opened my home to other women travelers who seek a comfortable Cape Cod experience. My home is a mile from the beach, Martha's Vineyard ferry, bike path, and a short walk to downtown shops, galleries, restaurants, and fun activities.
I love skinny, fast dogs! Passionate to help advance the adoption of retired racing greyhounds, I organized a greyhound adoption fair that brought several New England adoption groups and their ex-racers to Cape Cod. Community support, media coverage, and increased public awareness helped us find loving homes for these majestic and loyal companions. I promote adoption groups' activities for greyhounds and their families @CapeCodGreyhounds, and visit nursing and rehabilitation centers with my ex-racing therapy dog to share the health benefits pets provide. One of my guests adopted a greyhound after her stay! :) Visit The Greyhound Project, Inc. @GreyhoundProject to learn about these exceptional dogs and find an adoption group near you.
I like to explore new areas and get local advice on where to go and what to do. Originally from Westchester County, New York, I camped with family up and down the east coast, from Florida to Nova Scotia and PEI, including Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard. I've lived and worked in Boston and DC and took time off to travel solo by train to see and ski the country. A few other favorite trips include Barcelona, Paris, and Italy (it's in the blood!) including Rome and the fast train to Florence, the Amalfi Coast, Portofino, and San Remo. I dream of seeing more of the US with a camper in tow!
