Comfortable, clean and peaceful room in a studio/cabin with its own separate entrance. Facilities for light cooking in the room. Riddells Creek is a quiet small town in lovely surrounding countryside and views of the Macedon Ranges. Close to well-known tourist areas.
This comfortable room is in a cabin with its own separate entrance, next to my cottage. Double bed with comfortable latex mattress. Slippers provided. In the room is a TV, dvd player, wifi, fridge, double-ring portable electric cooktop for light cooking, toaster and kettle, micro-wave, large sink with hot/cold water, all you need for preparing/cooking breakfast and other light cooking , split-system air-conditioning/heating, clothes cupboard, hangers and hanging space, small dining table and 2 chairs,
You will find the ingredients for a continental breakfast in your fridge - eggs, milk, butter, jam, honey, fruit, bread, tea, coffee etc. All organic where possible. If you would like to try an Ayurvedic porridge for breakfast, (wonderful on a cold winter's morning!) I can prepare that for you on request, for a small extra charge. Your shower and toilet is in my work-place cabin a few meters across the garden - you have exclusive use of the ensuite there. You have access to the bathroom in my cottage in the case of wet weather, or if you prefer. (My cottage is adjoined to the guest cabin by connecting door.)
Guests are free to sit in the garden in warm weather. Some like to sit out to take their breakfast. The most convenient access to my property is through my carport, so guests are given a remote for the roller door to get in and out that way.

I work from my clinic at home. When not with a patient, or out teaching in Riddells Creek, I love to stay home in my cottage with my two dogs, or spend time in my garden tending to vegetables, flower beds and pot plants.
I am available and more than happy to help you with any enquiries you have about getting around this lovely area of the Macedon Ranges, and if you are on your travels around Australia, I'd be able to direct with that too!
Please no smoking

Have been a member for a couple of years, and last May i became a host. I am an Ayurvedic practitioner, Reflexologist and language teacher (french and italian) - I teach at Riddells Creek's delightful neighbourhood house - an occupation I thoroughly enjoy. I am also learning Spanish at the moment. I love animals and children, drawing/painting wild birds, love travel, nature walks, music, theatre and acting, cooking and living a healthy, active life. I also belong to a local singing group which is a lot of fun, and practise daily yoga and meditation. My main focus and passion is Ayurveda (Indian Traditional Medicine) which I have been practising since the late 90s. I love my dogs, Tom and Lily, and couldn't live without them! I have travelled world wide over the years - Sahara, Egypt, India, and many more wonderful places. I have a son who is a law student in Melbourne - he also caught his Mum's travel bug last year! When at home in Australia, which is most of the time these days, I love spending time in my garden with the native birds and the peace and quiet. I love international cuisine but my favourite is my home cooked Ayurvedic food. I am a member of The Mount Players theatre company and have really enjoyed playing roles in several plays over the last few years.. I enjoy many types of music (especially traditional from around the world), going to concerts, movies, plays, festivals, farmers markets, browsing nursery gardens and so much more. I love Life itself, which I live as fully as possible, aiming to live in the moment of each day! (oh yes, and by the way, recently shaved my head in aid of charity - to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation - very liberating feeling!)
