Our place is a cozy hideaway on the second floor of a historic building in downtown Story City. It is a sweet little town to relax in that is an easy 15-minute drive to Ames and all its amenities. The studio apartment has just been renovated into a Scandinavian-themed sanctuary. The living room has a fold-out couch that sleeps two, a smart TV, and a kitchenette. The bedroom has a very comfy queen-sized bed and the 3/4 bath has all you need to get away in comfort. Free parking is right outside.

Our place is close to Iowa State University and 40 miles north of Des Moines. It sits in the scenic Skunk River valley. Our two farms have a total of 5 miles of trails to explore. You’ll love my place because of the landscaped gardens, decks, and patios. By booking the entire house, guests have exclusive access to the house's common living areas. The house has lovely furnishings and original artwork. Our place is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups.

Come sleep under the stars in this cozy galaxy bell tent. You can enjoy a good nights sleep in the comfortable King bed and stay comfortable with an air conditioner and heater. There is also a fridge for keeping your food fresh. Soak up nature while you hike the trails around Oak Haven Acres, a 32 acre farm in rural Iowa. For your security we have a trail camera at the beginning of the driveway that won’t intrude on your privacy.
