Ideal rural retreat for anyone and everyone! This cosy wooden cabin is a simply lovely place to stop and unwind. Set near to a small Sussex village with direct access onto the South Downs, Iford is on the wild fringes of historic Lewes (2 miles), vibrant Brighton (7 miles) and Newhaven ferry and beach (6 miles). Ideally situated just off the South Downs Way, this eco-friendly cottage, with wood pellet boiler and solar water heating, has been newly refurbished as a holiday destination. Sleeping up to four, in a combination of doubles or singles, with two bathrooms, it would make the ideal base for exploring the nearby area. Local attractions include Monks House, Drusilla’s, Glyndebourne, the County Town of Lewes, Cuckmere Haven, Brighton and many many more. There is also a convenient pub just 100m away!

The local pub & village shop are just 10 minutes walk. Perfect for Glyndebourne, Charleston & Firle weddings or explore nearby towns of Lewes or Brighton.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. This adoreable suite has its own enterance to the back of the house and is completely seperate for your own privacy. Off road parking is available at all times. The suite has its own bathroom with shower, sink basin and toilet.Also offer tea and coffee facilities. Located on the 14 bus route which takes you directly into Brighton.The bus stops are literally right outside and run every 15 minutes. 2 miles from Newhaven ferry port.

The Tin Cabin

"The Tin Cabin" is a beautiful space set in a peaceful location nestled at the foot of the South Downs, in the quiet Hamlet of Swanborough. It was lovingly built from scratch in the garden of our farmhouse in 2020. It provides the perfect spot to rest and relax after a day exploring the historic county town of Lewes (just a 10 minute drive away) or walking/cycling the South Downs Way. The Juggs, a traditional local pub is in the neighbouring village of Kingston, just a 15 minute walk.

Semi-detached 2bed, KingstonRidge, Kingston, Lewes

A self-contained 2-bedroom flat , semi-detached to our home with separate access on the idyllic Kingston Ridge . Ideal for walkers, the South Downs way is at the end of the private no-through road, or the County Town of Lewes is a 2 mile walk away (or a ten minute drive). Brighton is 8 miles down the road, with a regular bus service. The apartment is ideal for 4-6 people but has a maximum capacity of 8 (sofa bed). N.B. We have a very friendly dog.

Garden Huts B&B Caburn

Garden Huts B&B offer a unique place to stay for walkers, cyclists and those exploring the local area. Located in the picturesque village of Rodmell close to the South Downs Way and the home of Virginia Woolf. Caburn huts are two huts, one bedroom hut with a comfy double bed, seating with tea and coffee making facilities. The second is a bathroom hut with a gorgeous roll top bath. Continental breakfast is provided in the morning.

Off-grid hut near Lewes

Our off-grid hut is nestled on a wild hilltop on a farm in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Situated on the River Ouse, we are 5 miles South of Lewes, the county town of East Sussex. There's walking access to the South Downs Way and many other fantastic country walks. We're a short drive from Glyndebourne, Alfriston, Charleston Farmhouse and Brighton as well as many other East Sussex treasures.

Lewes: ensuite, own access, breakfast included

We are Graham and Shizuka, our two daughters and our sociable Persian cat Saffy. We are offering a comfortable double room with its own entrance in our detached house in a quiet road on the outskirts of Lewes. There is parking in our driveway. 5 minutes walk north or south from the house takes you out onto the Downs yet the town centre is just 20 minutes away.
