Restored fireplaces, panelled walls and stone slab flooring give it character and warmth, while the setting feels remote and deeply rural. Despite this sense of seclusion, Cawdor Village lies just nine miles away, offering an easy balance between escape and convenience. Winter note: a 4x4 is recommended when snow and ice affect the moor road.
