This property is located on one of the main roads of Taos, less than a 5 minute scenic walk from the Historic Taos Plaza. Formerly a commercial building, this residence has been converted into several apartments, one of which I live in. It is situated with plenty of parking (incl. RV), a wonderful huge willow tree in the back yard, and so convenient to everything Taos offers. Space for rent includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, plus living/kitchen (about 900 sq. ft). Beds include Queen, 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4), plus a Queen Sofa bed. Kitchen includes stove, sink, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster oven. Bath includes a sink, toilet, and shower. WiFi is included as well as Direct TV in the living room. The Taos Chili Line public transit stops close by. For winter months, the shuttle bus to the Taos Ski Valley picks up less than a 5 minute walk away. Kit Carson Park can be entered from the end of Roberts Lane, directly behind the ball fields, for easy access to the many festivals held there each year. Many fabulous Taos restraurants are within walking distance as well as the venues for live music each night. The walk to the plaza takes you up Kit Carson Road past many of the art galleries for which Taos is famous. A list of "my favorite places" is available to all guests along with a map of the area and listings of activities being held during your stay.

The room is behind my 1936 historic home sharing a courtyard and ample parking space. It is ~325 sq ft with hardwood floors, adobe walls, and full bath. Tastefully furnished, you will enjoy a kitchenette with access to shared patio and grill, with fenced yard. From this downtown location you can walk to restaurants, museums, theater, galleries, and shopping.
