Welcome to your home base for mountain adventures! ~800 square feet of colorful, mid-60’s A-frame. Enter into a double-height living room with exposed wood ceiling, open king-bed sleeping loft above and fully-stocked kitchenette below. There is a second bedroom and bathroom on the ground level. Your hosts are vintage sci-fi fans and artists, with influences and work throughout the place. Rustic attached guest studio in beautiful Squirrel Valley with private entrance with EV plug. 5 min to Lake Isabella marina, 20 min to natural hot springs, 20 min to Kernville, 40 min to Alta Sierra ski resort, 1 and 1/2 hours to Trail of 100 giants. Great halfway stopping point between Death Valley and Yosemite. Perfect for traveling nurses, hospital is less than two miles away. Nature trails right out the back door. If you need assistance we will be here, but we will respect your privacy.

Hello and welcome to Bluebird Cottage. We are located 1 mile up a dirt road in the Isabella Highlands overlooking Lake Isabella. Our road is bumpy in and steep in areas, but we have never had a guest not make it up here. We are approximately a 3 hour Drive to Sequoia National Park. We are a 2 hour drive from Death Valley National Park. We are a 4 hour drive from Yosemite. We are 3 hr drive from Los Angeles. Bluebird Cottage is a cozy tiny home with a private outdoor space. Incredible views!

Come enjoy mountain living without sacrificing comfort. With the lake just a few minutes drive away, water activities are abundant. Kernville is a short drive away offering activities including white water rafting, fly fishing, kayaking and more! You’ll love the quiet area away from the crowds yet close to shopping. Please note: This unit is a kitchenette so there is no stove. We have recently added a futon for an extra sleeping area. It is most comfortable for one but can sleep two people.

Plunge into or practice your casting in our private river (Runs April through December). Originally built in the 1890s. Nestled in over 14 acres of water meadow. There is an attached but separate wing that is another listing. Two bedrooms upstairs, a large living room, loo & kitchen downstairs. no checkout chores.

Come get away from the city and it's crazy ways. We are located on a quiet street where little happens, but we're close enough to where things do happen. Hiking trails, the lake, river, parks, markets, stores, etc... Our place is quiet, usually, and we are very friendly. We can serve kosher breakfast upon request (not included in reservation cost). The room counts with its private entrance and a full, also private, restroom. It's not a huge place, but very nice🤩
