Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

Cozy home outside Tromsø, Sommarøya.

Sommarøya is a small village 1 hour outside Tromsø. There is a bus twice a day on weekdays, during the weekend a bus runs Sunday evening. There is good parking for the rental car. In addition to listed rooms, the house has a room with a double sofa bed. This room is adjacent to one of the bedrooms. There are also a room with a singel bed. Animals are allowed at request. We have a small dog in our family. Internet fiber

Hytte som ligger helt ved sjøkanten, stille område uten gjennomgangstrafikk. Dette er plassen hvor du blir alene i ro og fred. Enkel tilgjengelighet med 30 meter fra trafikkert vei. Greit med parkering. 32 km fra flyplassen. Flere matbutikker på vegen fra flyplassen. Veldig gode muligheter for nordlys, skiturer, fisketurer og flere turoperatører i nærheten. The house has “all amenities” minus dishwasher. The drive from the airport is approximately 1h. There is no public transportation here so you need to either rent a car or hire me as a driver.
