Greenfield is a traditional single storey house in a quiet area less than one mile from Portree town centre. The house looks onto a private garden which continues round to the side of the house where there is an outdoor dining and drying areas. There is a woodland walk in close proximity to the house. There is private parking for two cars. There is central heating throughout and a dish washer for your convenience. There is a supermarket 10 minutes walk away from house.

Self catering bungalow, ‘Crab Cottage’

Crab Cottage provides a comfy place to relax after a day exploring the beauty of the Isle of Skye. This detached, self-catering bungalow for two is situated in a crofting community. The cottage is near and above the road but shielded by bushes and visitors have said the noise is minimal. Our own house and static caravan are next to the cottage. We live with an elderly collie mix dog called Boots and 4 chickens (who live in a separate fenced off area).

Approximately 20 minutes from the capital Portree, it enjoys stunning views of the Cuillins and the nearby Isle of Raasay. Outside is a decked area and garden with parking at the gate.

Greyhound Cottage is an ideal base for exploring Skye with many things to see and do close by. It is perfect for couples, families (including dogs) or groups of friends. Our cottage is located right next to The Old Inn which serves great home cooked meals and a good variety of hot and cold drinks including a wide range of local ales and spirits. This is a very special spot on the country road leading out of the town.
