An der Südostküste der Insel Mallorcas liegt der Ferienort Cala d´Or. Sein Name bedeutet übersetzt „Goldene Bucht“. Prägend für das Bild des Ortes sind die überwiegend ein- bis zweigeschossigen, weiß getünchten Häuser im so genannten Ibiza-Stil, die sich in die umgebene Landschaft einfügen.
