It's history dates back to the 1400s, the restoration revealed and maintained the original stone work inside and out. It's easy to access to the area and parking your car is free . The location is perfect for those who have car for long tours and also for take a walk and discover the city. In this exact place, in the early times of Portuguese occupation, there was a water mill. The private patio preserves those marks from other times.

LUZZ me - Santa Bárbara 1

This is the first of a set of rustic houses rehabilitated in 2019/20, giving rise to 5 modern apartments, decorated with solid wood and lamps from Bali. The aim was to create an informal, unpretentious environment, but at the same time refined and welcoming. In the central area, there is a porch, a common area, where you can have meals and rest outdoors. Santa Bárbara is a peaceful village from where you can see the sea and the mountain with the same name, and an ideal place to rest.

Ninho dos Avós é um refúgio tranquilo situado na linda freguesia rural de Santa Bárbara pertence ao concelho de Angra do Heroísmo. Aqui poderá desfrutar da vida de campo e o seu sossego. Terá magníficas vistas para o campo verdejante com o mar em pano de fundo, poderá também avistar as ilhas vizinhas Pico e São Jorge. Ninho dos Avós, como o nome indica, era a casa onde os nossos avós viviam, aqui temos muitas boas memórias e onde éramos felizes com eles e não sabíamos.
