Porthcothan Retreats is located on the North Cornwall coastline next to the beautiful sandy beach in Porthcothan and located next to the south west coast path a few miles from Padstow. A small exclusive adults glamping retreat, tucked away in lush surroundings. We only have 4 unique cabins on site each sleeping 2 with their own private garden & own facilities. Foxes Cove is an adorable shepherds hut with its own separate kitchen & bathroom (sleeps2). Available for short stays all year round.

Mawgan Porth Home with a view of the beach (small)

Beach house situated behind the dunes of Mawgan Porth. One bedroom with a king-size bed and a large day bed in the entrance room. Would suit small family, couple or a small group of friends for a surf/walking trip. Stunning views from the upstairs open-plan living and kitchen area with balcony for alfresco dining. Ground level has a lovely decking area with an outdoor shower (cold water), a fridge for chilled outdoor drinks and a hammock for guest use. Perfect for surfing and beach activities.

Luxury Cornish character stone house walk to beach

Lanthorn house is a 200 year old, 5 bedroom stone house full of character and original features which has been completely renovated and sympathetically modernised. Set on an unmade, unnamed lane within 5 minutes walk of Porthcothan Bay - a beautiful dog friendly, surfing beach with life guards at peak times. At low tide it opens up to a vast expanse of sand with amazing rock formations and caves. The property has private gardens and far reaching views over the valley to the Atlantic Ocean.

Rural Retreat outside Mawgan Porth

Little Forge is a one bedroom stone annexe attached to our home. It's in a peaceful rural location. There is a courtyard garden, gated parking (shared with us), king size bed, roll top bath, shower and fully equipped kitchen. It’s a 10 min drive to gorgeous Mawgan Porth beach, pub and shops, 15 min drive to Padstow. Please note you will need a car: shops, beaches, etc are not within walking distance. The property is not step free externally or internally. We are happy to accept one dog.

Coastal, Countryside annex

Enjoy a relaxing break in a small Cornish hamlet, with lovely countryside views with wildlife going about their day. Also enjoy an amazing stary sky by night while enjoying your favourite beverage. Cedar Lodge has just been completed and is brand new ready for 2023. It is a stunning 1 bedroom annex situated in the lower half of our garden. Although it is in close proximity to our family home there is a dividing fence and all access to the annex is separate with shared parking.

Sunny Orchard Lodge, Porthcothan, Cornwall

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Sunny Orchard is a brand new (2025) 40ft x 20ft lodge. Situated on a farm, you can enjoy the far reaching views across open fields and towards the sea from the extensive decked area. We are a short walk to the beach and South West footpath and the bus stop. With a Master bedroom with king bed and ensuite and a twin room with 2 x 3ft singles, plus a sofa bed, this lodge is perfect for couples, quiet groups or family get away.

Enjoy amazing sunsets over the ocean from the comfort of your cozy double bed and huge windows. Stroll 10 minutes through paddocks to your choice of a number of great beaches and swimming spots. Porthcothan beach is a gentle wander around the coastal path and Trescore, Porthmear, Golden Burn and Pentire and are right on your doorstep. This cute space, hand built by the host, is situated in a quiet field with 2 other accomodation spaces but plenty of privacy and peace.

Bijou Garden Cottage near Padstow & North Coast

Grove Cottage (sleeps 2 + 2 dogs) is set in a quiet garden in the conservation area of the small historic market town of St Columb Major. Recently restored and refurbished to a high standard - it is compact, cosy and full of character. The cottage has a sunroom, private courtyard, enclosed garden and off-road parking space. St Columb caters for all your daily needs and is ideally located to explore all of Cornwall. The sea and surf are only 7 minutes away!
