Lake Michigan Moon Barn

Welcome to your home away from home that we lovingly call the Moon Barn. We are situated in between South Haven and Saugatuck just a mile away from a hiking trail with public access to a Lake Michigan beach. Our home was built in remembrance of a family barn that sat on this location generations ago. It has natural barn wood and art works integrated throughout the house. Downstairs has a complete kitchen, dining area, spacious living room with a gas fire place, full bathroom, and a piano!

2 private bedrooms, 2 loft spaces, sleeps 8. Surrounded by conservation and wildlife. It is a rustic and eclectic, recently refinished 70’s cabin. It is surrounded by woods and trails and easily accessed by road. Escape to a peaceful retreat tucked in a wooded community with access to private no-wake Goshorn Lake, yet only 5 min drive to downtown Saugatuck and 10 to Oval Beach. 2 covered porches, indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit and grill make this a perfect all-season getaway. Thoughtful layout works great for families with kids, gatherings with friends, and romantic getaways. Cabin is also next to a bike path that takes you to town (10 mins) Beach (20 mins), or Hiking (20 mins).

Cabin in the Woods

The cabin is nestled to the back of the 3.6 acres of a private wooded land with a short walk to the all sport lake. The updated home features two bedrooms, sleeping loft, family room, washer/dryer, all the amenities of home. Enjoy the 160 ft of lakefront off our private dock. We have 2 kayaks, a Canoe and a small fishing boat, floaties and life vests for boating or swimming. Enjoy a day at the lake, cook dinner on one of our grills and enjoy the evening by the firepit.

This spacious cabin features five bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2 living rooms situated on 21 acres of picturesque land. Amenities include a hot tub, dry sauna, two fireplaces, a fire pit, and a gas grill, as well as a 36-inch Blackstone griddle. The cabin is fully stocked to meet your needs. We also provide three kayaks for your use: two single kayaks and one tandem kayak. Pine Lake is just two minutes away, along with Gun Lake and Gull Lake, all conveniently nearby.

This cabin sleeps 8 comfortably. A heated pool and lake access are available from Memorial Day to mid September. Full-size washer & dryer in the cabin for your convenience. For larger groups, ask about availability to also rent one of our affiliated cabins nearby.
