The Treehouse: Off-grid Retreat

Shaded in a canopy of macrocarpa trees at the base of Mt Taranaki national park, The Treehouse is a grown-up childhood sanctuary. Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. Kick back in the canopy, swoop on the swings or shoot down the slide. This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

Cute & Cosy Oeo Country Cottage - no cleaning fee

This rural getaway is situated between Opunake & Manaia on Surf highway 45. Older but cosy cottage with 3 bedrooms on our dairy farm. Clean with lovely linen & comfy beds. Good base - 30 mins to Mt Taranaki, 10 mins to Opunake. Close proximity to lots of surf breaks, Pihama lavender farm, Mt Taranaki and many other amazing adventures & scenery. The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, coffee pods, kettle & fridge. The stunning Oakura surf beach and Black Sand Pizzeria is just a 15 minute walk away, the cute little Oakura village, cafes and restaurants, a 12 minute walk away, and the Kaitake Ranges a 15 minute walk.
