Revamped Minimalist Stone Country House

Nestled on the foot of mount Giouchtas, in the picturesque village of Archanes, our stone countryhouse is located in one of the most central and beautiful parts of the area. Archanes are 20 minutes away from the centre of Heraklion(15km), 15 minutes away from Heraklion's International airport, 15 minutes away from the famous Minoan palace of Knossos, as well as 20 minutes away from numerous beautiful beaches. Situated in the center of the most important wine-producing region of Crete, it has a 5000 years old history, while excavations conducted in the last 50 years have brought to light a lot of sites dating back to the Minoan period. The village is also very famous for its typical Cretan architecture. Most of the houses have been restored recently and Archanes has won the second award as “the best restored village in Europe”. The house enjoys a spacious interior and a private garden, which is protected by a peripheral wall. This is a typical characteristic of old Cretan houses of the area. Guests enter the private garden through the gate which then leads to the main building. I am always at the disposal of my guests, so that I can make their holiday problem-free. Furthermore, there is a free parking very close to the house. The country house is only 20’ away from the “Nikos Kazantzakis Airport” and the port. The archeological site of Knossos is 15’ away.

Ο χώρος μας είναι χτισμένος στην περιοχή του χωριού Άγιος Μύρωνας κοντά στο ηράκλειο (14χλμ.) στο νησί της Κρήτης. Το χωριό είναι ένα πολύ ωραίο μέρος όπου μπορείτε να βρείτε σχεδόν τα πάντα για να ψωνίσετε, να απολαύσετε τον καφέ σας ή να χαλαρώσετε σε μια παραδοσιακή ταβέρνα. Το επίπεδο είναι 450 μέτρα πάνω από τη θάλασσα έτσι ο αέρας είναι πάντα φρέσκος και καθαρός! Υπάρχουν πολλά όμορφα μέρη που μπορείτε να επισκεφθείτε, να κάνετε μια βόλτα ή να κάνετε ποδηλασία βουνού.

Το Krouson Mansion είναι ένα μικρό αρχοντικό σπίτι, χτισμένο το 1950, το οποίο ανακαινίστηκε πρόσφατα διατηρώντας όλα τα στοιχεία που αποτελούν μέρος της ταυτότητας του. Villa Balcony is located on the mountainside of Pantanassa, next to the traditional village of Rodia. The location of the villa is very advantageous because it is located on the eastern side of the mountain and offers spectacular view of the whole city of Heraklion, the bay of Heraklion, the island of Dia and the Aegean sea. Also, due to the location of the villa, at night, the moonrise offers a beautiful and romantic view.
