The Saddlery Cottage

Beautiful converted cottage in the grounds of an historic Victorian country house in rural Wales. Wood-burning stove, Wi-Fi, stunning views of the Black Mountains. Perfect for walkers, cyclists, garden-lovers, or horse-riders of all ages. Just 450 yards on a private drive through the estate from a barn which sleeps 8 (see 'Eco-Barn in the Brecon Beacons'). Ideal also for larger gatherings. Dogs welcome; a maximum of two permitted. The cottage is located on a 19th century country house estate of about 10 acres of gardens, lawns and woods. There are three bedrooms - a double ensuite on the ground floor, and two upstairs bedrooms (two doubles, one can be made up as twin beds) that share a large bathroom. A double-height kitchen and an open plan living/dining area with a banquette, a woodburning stove, two large comfy sofas and fabulous views. One side of the cottage looks onto a cobbled stable yard, and the other onto its own garden, then beyond that parkland, Llangorse Lake and the Black Mountains. Fabulous restaurants and farm shops are within a short drive as well as the lake, with boating facilities, beautiful walks out of your front door, and great biking trails. An all-around perfect location for a peaceful holiday in rural Wales. The cottage has its own entrance and parking, also its own garden with a table and chairs. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds of Treberfydd House, and are free to bring up to two pets. My husband and I and our family live a couple of minutes' walk from the Saddlery, and are available to help with any questions guests may have. Completely rural idyll - Perfect for those who want to escape the city and drink in the joys of the countryside. You would need a car to get around. Wellies are recommended, and good walking gear advisable for the hills. Booking is normally for a minimum of three nights. Between November and and March we offer a special rate for a Friday + Saturday booking with a late checkout of 4.30pm on Sunday. Please contact us for details. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful national park hamlet. Our recently renovated barn conversion sleeps 4 in two double rooms or double and twin. Cosy, with traditional beams and wood burning stove you will instantly feel at home. Outdoor area, BBQ We are located in the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog national park, 5 miles from the market town, Brecon and 9 miles from Crickhowell. Hay-on- Wye book town 18 miles. Plenty of activities on the doorstep-Waterfalls walk and Pen-Y Fan close by.

Nestled in a quiet hamlet just outside of Brecon, this recently refurbished annex offers you peace and tranquility along with stunning views of the Brecon Beacons. With a public footpath right on your the door step the “Annex” is the perfect base to explore the beautiful Brecon Beacons. It has facilities for light refreshments and a breakfast table for 2, there is a modern ensuite shower room and a comfy sofa to sit and relax after exploring the local countryside. Golwg y Gamlas (Canal View)

Set in the centre of the Brecon Beacons National Park, this canal side spacious property (with en-suite) is set back from the road and offers tranquility. A great range of walks including Pen y Fan can be started from the front door. The traditional local pub (CAMRA award winner) is less than 150 metres away and serves a great variety of dishes. The cottage, opposite the Cathedral, adjoins one of Brecon's finest Georgian buildings, Grade II listed Priory Hill House, with which it shares a lovely half-acre garden on the banks of the River Honddu, with spectacular views of Pen y Fan. Welcome to my home In a quiet residential area just 15 minutes walk into the town of brecon Which has a good array of super markets, coffee shops restaurants and things to do also has transport links to all surrounding areas including Cardiff and Swansea hay on wye and crickhowell there is a lovely cathedral in town and the brecon to Monmouth canal starts beside brecon theatre you can walk or cycle to tal y Bont and stop in the numerous pubs along the way for a light lunch and a drink

Bumble Bee Cottage

Spacious one bedroom cottage, barn conversion. Called Bumble Bee cottage because of all the bumble bees in the flower garden and wild flowers. In a woodland setting one and a half miles from Llangorse and three miles from Talgarth. On a farm with sheep and horses, within the Brecon Beacons National Park and dark sky reserve. Underfloor heating, wood burning stove, king size bed and double bath with shower. It has a few steps inside and out. Well behaved dogs welcome upon request.

Captain’s Lookout is a cosy, self-contained studio on the first floor of an old granary, set within the courtyard of our 1750’s farmhouse. Ideal for romantic getaways or a break in the National Park……Set on the edge of the canal, it looks over a traditional canal boat marina. Easy for walks, bike rides and paddling adventures. Village pub near by which can also be walked to along the magical mon and brec canal. WiFi and TV. Not suitable for dogs, babies or young children.

Coity Cottage is one of a pair of pretty pink cottages nestled in the Brecon Beacons. Step through the old stable door into open-plan living.
