La Magara è un'antica casa costruita alla fine del '700.E' ubicata sulla punta più alta di Civita, piccolo borgo di origini Arbresh, all'ingresso del Parco Nazionale del Pollino. La Magara è composta da 4 camere ampie e fornite di tutti i comfort. Luci calde e accoglienti, vista panoramica, materiali poveri e riusati che rimandano al passato storico degli ambienti domestici. Ogni camera ha mantenuto le sue caratteristiche e ciascuna ha uno sbocco in una strada differente. La Magara offre un'esperienza esclusiva di storia e di costume: dai cibi ai colori, dai silenzi alle atmosfere magiche che gli ambienti offrono. Le colazioni sono la massima espressione della cultura locale. Marmellate e dolci fatti in casa, frutta locale appena raccolta nell orto di famiglia danno il buongiorno.
