The chabin-chic interior has been newly updated and features an electric fireplace for added coziness! River access is a 5 min walk away as well.

Historical White Pass Ticket Booth Packwood

This is the original White Pass Ski Resort ticket booth, then lifty shack, and finally wax room, built in the 1950's, when White Pass first opened. It became somewhat run down and put out of service, but was rescued by a Packwoodian with vision. It was hauled down from White Pass on a flatbed truck, where it was given a new metal roof, insulation, rough-hewn cedar and corrugated metal interior walls. With log bunkbeds, rocking chairs, cozy blankets, it's a snug abode for skiers and hikers!

Rainier and twenty-five minutes White Pass Ski area. The quaint little town of Packwood is just 5 minutes away with restaurants, grocery and a brewery. The cabin is nestled in the woods at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood and fast cable Wi-Fi. Walk to Skate Creek. Short hike to Skate Creek Park.

Escape to the mountains. Just 25 minutes from Mt. Rainier NP, 30 minutes to White Pass Ski area and surrounded by the best fishing, hiking, and adventures in the PNW. The property includes a cedar hot tub, WiFi, Full-Kitchen, bunkhouse, washer & dryer, record player, and more. We are 2.5 from Portland and Seattle. We decided to name the place after the most beautiful and peaceful fantasy land from our favorite movie and book.

Cozy Forest House, Hot Tub/Sauna, AC, near Creek.

Cabana del Oso is forested on three sides at the end of a cul-de-sac and is one of the most secluded in the community. You look out the front window at the forest from all sides. Amenities include a kitchen with all the basics, AC, a cedar sauna and soaking tub, a wood stove, cable internet, BBQ, games, fire pits, cornhole, and a hammock on half of an acre of land. The house even has a hiking trail around the property.

What better way to celebrate a successful visit to the lifts or trails than with an evening spent at our beautiful, completely remodeled, A-frame cabin in the heart of town? Walk to both breweries, coffee shops, bars, local shops and restaurants. Enjoy the starry sky while soaking in our 6 person hot tub. Short drive to Rainier National Park, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, White Pass Ski Resort, Goat Rocks Wilderness.

This renovated a-frame is located in the High Valley neighborhood in Packwood, WA near Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, and White Pass Ski Area. Our neighborhood is quiet and relaxed. The cabin offers big windows and a large deck. A quintessential a-frame - rustic with modern updates. A peaceful oasis in the mountains. We don't allow events in our home (weddings, elopements, parties, etc.). No exceptions.
