Our mid century trailer was purchased new in ‘57 by Dawn’s grandparents. This retro 50’s RV has original pink appliances w/bed, bath, kitchen, living room in one! Along w/covered porch & ceiling fan. On 50 acres in foothills of the Ouachita National Forest, 18 miles to Hot Springs National Park, AR & 8 miles to DeGray Lake State Park. Even though we have the necessary WiFi we still invite you to unplug from technology, reconnect w/nature & your loved one. We’re a perfect escape to a simpler time

The Red House on Cross Lake

This is a Cross Lake cabin that we renovated from an old catfish restaurant built in the early 1930's. We call it the RED HOUSE. There are three cabins on the property that we also use for visiting family and friends. We live on the property behind the houses and we all use the property and pier. Guest also have use of the pier/boat house. The house is at the end of the road on the lake. Although family also uses the property the cabin is quiet and private with a great view of the open lake.

Royal Cabin Tiny Home

Small Cabin located on 10 acres with spectacular views! Wake up and look out over the Ouachita mountains! Step out onto the large deck and enjoy a hot cup of coffee and nature! The loft is carpeted and has a Queen mattress. We have a full (tiny-home) kitchen with pots and pans or a grill if you choose to cook. Cute Bathroom with large shower. Blow dryer in cabinet. No cable (unplug and enjoy nature!) But we do have a DVD player and we usually watch TV using our lightning cord on our iPhones!

The Treehouse is a quiet and peaceful retreat.

Tropical Treehouse set in a ten acre Jungle Garden with a canal lagoon. Private mature forest park of 250 acres and five miles of nature trails. There are four lakes and the Treehouse overlooks Lake Winnamocka. The house is 35 feet in the air accessible by stairs but with a cargo lift for luggage and groceries. The bath is tile with heated floor and tile shower. There is a bidet, washer/dryer in the full bath. The kitchen is modern. There are 3 porches. Master bed and two loft bunks.

Piney Woods A-Frame is a cozy rustic cabin tucked away from it all to give you the solitude you've been craving. Great retreat!!!!! This tiny house is open and feels spacious and well equipped for a weekend or over nite stay. Located by a stocked pond excellent for fishing. Enjoy serene hiking areas excellent for peace and getting back to nature. Horses are nearby so enjoy watching them play. All the amenities you can imagine, full size refrigerator, oven and microwave and washer and dryer. A romantic picnic area with soft lights and plenty of privacy. Pet friendly! Nettles Nest is a rustic cabin nestled in the piney woods of northeast Texas in the small town of Redwater, just outside of Texarkana. It is located on a 5 acre lake. It's a great place to unplug. No Wifi. Fish (bring your own pole,etc.), swim, paddleboat, kayak, relax on the deck or under the pavilion. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families , and pets (2 maximum) No large groups. No parties.
