The area offers very good fishing opportunities and hiking in the woods and mountains. Fra himmelsenga i stua kan man våkne til soloppgangen og er man heldig følge en turistbåt på veg til Olden med øynene. Om kvelden kan man fyre i ovnen, kjenne den gode varmen, lese en god bok og sovne til lyset av flammene og lyden fra vedovnen like ved. NB!
