The bothy- peaceful country life near the sea

The bothy is a beautiful newly converted farm building located on the east mainland of Orkney. The property is in the countryside, surrounded by farmland and just along the road from one of several wonderful beaches in Deerness. Should you need any items for a baby like a carrier (any age), seat, snuzpod, cot/ cotbed, highchair, etc. Please let us know prior to your arrival, along with the age of the baby/toddler. We also have a 4 bedroom house next door should you need a bigger accommodation

Secluded cottage by the Sea

A unique home by the sea. A peaceful and private country road leads to this secluded cottage. The hot tub has views down scapa flow. The famous St Magus Way is accessible from this property . There is direct access to the sea for paddle boarding, wind surfing or sailing in the bay. Return to the cottage to an open fire. The extensive grounds also allow for simple walks or yoga. The cottage retains some of it's 19th century charm but has been renovated to be a practical and comfortable home.

Mole End Cottage, cosy one bedroom but and ben

Mole End Cottage is a cosy humble ‘But and Ben’ single storey cottage made for two with one double bedroom. Offered on a self-catering basis, it has its own private garden, separate private parking and an outdoor seating area. In the West mainland area called Evie, we are around 20 minutes drive from both Kirkwall and Stromness which are the two main towns on the mainland Orkney. We offer complementary toiletries and provide some main stores for the kitchen plus your teas, coffee and sugar.

Seaview Cottage

This property is 10 minutes drive from St Margaret's Hope. It is a former stone croft with a modern interior. It has sea views across the Pentland Firth and accommodates two people. Outside seating area. Bedroom with double bed. Toilet & Shower room with electric towel rail. Open plan kitchen/lounge/dining with a sofa that can convert to an additional bed. Kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster. Coastal walks and beach from the property.

Fieldhouse Self Catering Cottage

Escape to Orkney and stay in this modern, recently renovated cottage. Fieldhouse lies only a short walk from the heart of Kirkwall and is a 5 minute drive from the beautiful Scapa beach. If you prefer to walk you can take the scenic Crantit Trail. Fieldhouse is on a main bus route ideal for travel to tourist destinations. Fieldhouse is a short walk from both Highland Park Distillery and Scapa Distillery. PLEASE NOTE - we have a minimum stay of 4 nights and a maximum stay of 14 nights

Cosy one bedroom cottage with private parking on outskirts of Kirkwall ideally suited for a couple, with sofa bed in the living area. 2 miles from the airport and 5 minute walk to the famous Highland Park Distillery. 20/25 minute walk to St Magnus Cathedral in the town centre where there are all the usual amenities including shops, bars and restaurants. The cottage is situated in a quiet area with views over farmland. Wi-Fi and heating provided at no additional cost.

Brymire Cottage is a unique and charming cottage, surrounded by farm land and situated in the parish of Tankerness in the East Mainland of Orkney; approximately 2 miles from Kirkwall Airport and 5 miles from Kirkwall Town Centre. Make sure your booking is adequate length for all you want to see and do; as many guests advise that a guest requires at least a four night stay or longer to appreciate all that Orkney has to offer.

Doehouse Cottage, Sandwick, Orkney

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Set in the parish of Sandwick in rural Orkney surrounded by farmland, approximately 1.5 miles from the sea at Skaill beach and Skara Brae and approximately 4 miles from the ancient Ring of Brodgar, Standing Stones of Stenness and the recently discovered Ness of Brodgar which is currently being excavated.

The Auld Kitchen

Our beautifully restored self catering cottage is located on the island of Burray linked by road via the Churchill barriers to the mainland of Orkney and is attached to our family home. We have kept and restored some of the old beautiful features like the exposed stone walls and stone floor we have also installed a new multi fuel stove for cosy nights around the fire
