It is located in a nice, safe and quiet neighborhood, 5 minutes away from the A7 and A9 highways and 10 minutes away on foot from the train station, the city center and the ancient Roman theatre. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .
