Quiet and peaceful. 1 hour 15 min from Kona and same from Hilo. Best to get supplies in Kona or Hilo as no grocery stores in Na'alehu. Is 40 minutes to the Volcano Ntl. Park and 15 min to the Punaluu Black Sand Beach, 15 min to South Point and Green Sands Beach. There is no Wi-Fi ~ cell service works great in the area.

We are on the South side of Kona, nestled on a 5 acre retreat. Most of the 5 acres have an Ohia forest with native birds singing. We are close to great beaches, snorkeling, (Best Snorkeling on the Island) kayaking, paddle boarding, hikes, coffee shops, restaurants, and much more. Just 45 min. to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park main entrance, and less than 10 minutes to the hiking trails and picnic areas of the HVNP "Kahuku Unit." Other nearby attractions include South Point, Punalu'u Black Sand Beach (sea turtles) & the famous Green Sand Beach at Mahana Bay. Steep driveway requires vehicle with good ground clearance!
