Da qui sarà possibile raggiungere agilmente e in pochi minuti a piedi i principali punti di interesse della città (Bastione, Anfiteatro, Musei), nonché la stazione dei treni e il porto di Cagliari.

Il rifugio Lampathu si trova a 8,9 km dal centro abitato di Urzulei. La costruzione in pietra è perfettamente integrata nel paesaggio circostante, riprendendone i colori e le luci. Qui, gli escursionisti troveranno riparo dal maestrale nella stagione fredda e refrigerio nei pomeriggi estivi: le pareti in pietra garantiscono un isolamento termico senza paragoni.
