Otherwise, for those who prefer, the local shop, cafe & liquor store is across the road! Pukenui is a great stop on the way to or from Cape Reinga. We are in the heart of Pukenui, a small quiet community. As hosts we share the property should you need any assistance during your stay.

This unique retreat is surrounded by native bush and offers stunning views of the Poor Knights Islands. Our private guest house includes a kitchenette with microwave, kettle, toaster, bar fridge, air fryer, and slow cooker. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.

Tree House self contained apartment. Enjoy the native bush surroundings and sea views from the deck. Fully equipped kitchen for self catering, ensuite, king size bed, beach towels, BBQ. Wake up to the bird song. Easy walking distance to town centre. We do not allow children to stay.

The Cottage at Wai Rua, west of Whangarei, is approximately 18 minutes drive from Kamo via Pipiwai Road. It is a hidden gem with amazing rural views, including massive volcanic rocks, lakes and ponds, set in a beautiful tranquil garden. It can be a getaway retreat or stopover.
