Sonka Resort’s Mirror Houses are set by a frozen lake, surrounded by forest and open sky. Each cabin has a mirrored exterior for privacy, a lake-view glass wall, double bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, bathroom, Wi-Fi, and a projector screen. Local breakfast is available on request with at least three days’ notice. With several BBQ kotas on the premises, guests can enjoy outdoor cooking anytime. Igloo saunas and hot tubs are available to book. A quiet Lapland escape under the northern lights.

The cabin is located in the same yard as the host family. Gasgrill on the terrace. Cafekiosk on random days. Large hot tub 99e, only pre-filled, heated.

Due to irregular road maintenance and unpredictable weather, a 4x4 car is highly recommended. We offer transport service if needed.

Modern Lakeside Summer Cottage (reachable by car)

Relaxing modern summer cottage by the lake. Short driving 🚗 from Kuopio city. The cottage has an indoors modern sauna, stove, airconditioning, dishwasher, washing machine, heating, fireplace, all cooking equiptment. Everything you need to have a relaxing stay. There is a peer and boat free to use and barbeque/grill. shallow water so suitable for kids. Pets are allowed, but make sure to clean up after stay. Please note that cleaning up before leaving, and own linen and towels needed.

Yurt is decorated with beautiful Scandinavian elements and it is warm even the weather is cold outside. This is a place for thinking and relaxing and enjoying pure and simple things. We think this is something everyone should experiment at least once in a lifetime!

Vain 5 minuutin kävely keskustan palveluihin, ravintoloihin ja ostoskeskuksiin. Kaapista löydät aamupalaa itsepalveluna: mm. kahvia, teetä, mehua, keksiä.

Sigges Inn är ett eget boende på ca 70 m2 bestående av kök, 2 sovrum, badrum samt vardagsrum. Dessutom så finns en stor terrass (100m2) samt en inglasad terrass (30m2) med utekök att tillgå. Boendet är lämpligt både för ett par eller en familj. Husdjur är också tillåtna. Frukost kan beställas mot skild avgift.
