The Lookout at River Haven is a beautiful and private timber cottage set overlooking the majestic Millstream River. Enjoy nature, wildlife and stunning river views from your deck. Take a stroll down to the most amazing swimming hole ever. Venture further afield to the lovely Innott Hot Springs or the superb Millstream Falls (both 10 minutes drive). My partner and I are Superhosts and do everything we can to ensure you have an awesome stay. Our other AirBnB is a perennial Guest Favourite also.

Birdwing Hut in the Rainforest

This simple hut nestled into the rainforest is a birdwatcher's paradise! The property is entirely off-grid and is situated in a wildlife hotspot, with 100 acres of wet tropics rainforest connected to the World Heritage listed Maalan National Park. An ideal base for nature lovers to explore the Atherton Tableland, the bird list includes over 200 species, including Victoria's Riflebird, Blue-faced Parrot finch. Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.

Tropical 1/2 acre retreat alive with bird calls and wildlife,hosting a 10m cool deep pool with lawns and sun lounges for lazing. Mena Creek Flower House, "The Birdsnest"

Set on 40 Private acres, "The Birdsnest" is our modern air-cond smaller cabin. It is open plan living/bedroom with q/size bed and sofa that converts to double bed for extra guests. Seperate bathroom and undercover large deck with stunning rural views. Private river safe swimming hole. Free wifi, flat screen TV. We do have 2 other cabins on the property to accommodate larger families or groups. 7mins from Paronella Park. Due to Covid 19 we are no longer providing breakfast.

Aly's Kapok Pod. Entire studio in Horseshoe Bay

Lay back and relax in this uniquely designed studio nestled in a lush tropical garden. Enjoy local wildlife, pristine beaches and waterfalls (wet season), while exploring stunning Magnetic Island. A 15-minute min stroll will take you over the dunes to the secluded end of Horseshoe Bay for a swim or to watch the sunset. Shops and restaurants are just 3 minute drive away. The nearest bus stop is a 15 minute walk from the property. The bus takes you all over the island bays.

Kookaburra Cottage

Feel at ease in private, peaceful, natural surroundings. Best of both worlds - in the bush and only 5 mins to closest shops. 25mins from CBD. Plenty of room for trailers or caravans. 75meters from the main residence, and sharing a 20 acre property and garden with a border collie, wallabies, blue winged kookaburras, chooks, bees, cows and our family. Join Jess for Friday and Saturday morning yoga and coffee if you wish on the other side of the rainforest garden.

Cosy self-contained cabin set amongst the rainforest. Close to bike path/walkway, pizzeria and laundromat. 2 minute drive to the Supermarket and Bottle Shop. Complimentary tea/coffee provided.
