We are at the foot of the Ulster way, with the track to the Mourne mountains in one direction and Tollymore forest in the other a stroll is always sanctioned! Then come back and fall asleep In front of the log burner. Meelmore lodge coffee shop is a 10 minute walk Newcastle is 10 minute drive Belfast is a 1hr drive, or 1hr bus journey from Newcastle You really are in the heart of the mountains here!

An Lochta

An Lochta is a converted , two story, 19th century grain store, surrounded by a mature and carefully tended garden on a small farm, set in the idyllic rustic peace and quiet of rural Co Meath. Despite our seclusion, we are just 10 minutes from the M1 motorway, 1 hour from Dublin and within easy reach of the major historical sites of Meath, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan. (Unfortunately the layout of the building renders it unsuitable for wheelchair users).

Double bed in bedroom with beautiful views over the countryside from both the lounge and bedroom. All facilities that you would need if working nearly or for a country break. Wifi available in apartment. Public transport is good into centre of Belfast, Holywood and Bangor but a car is more convenient.

stunning location, suite 3 unique accommodation

we are almost finished converting the old school house building, with stunning views of countryside, windmill etc. we have completed Phase 1 which provides 3 chalet type rooms - guest have use of internal courtyard . Each room has a kitchenette and bathroom, free parking. The schoolhouse is on the outskirts of town, 10 minute walk on lit pavements to bars and shops.
