The Big Dipper - Geo-Desic Dome

Sleep amid the stars and the deer in the Big Dipper Geo-Desic off-grid dome. A perfect getaway for 2 (or on your own), you’ll sleep comfortably in a queen-size bed with all of the must-have amenities, including an in-unit compost toilet and a woodstove. Cook your meals over the fire or grill and bask in the sunsets from the wood-fired hot tub (seasonal) or cozy in the dome through the panoramic window. Enjoy some modern comforts while getting up close with nature so you can truly unwind.

The Sunflower Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil eco-retreat. The Sunflower cabin is on a 1 acre lot, 100 meters from the Newboro Locks on the Rideau Canal (Lock 36). The cabin is tiny, rustic, and ideal for unwinding in a natural, quiet setting with canoeing, kayaking, boating, and fishing at your door step. Visit the village of Newboro and Westport for shopping, restaurants, golf, hiking, and beach 6 min away. There is a kitchen with drinkable water, fridge, stove, electricity, BBQ, and outhouse.

Escape to the point! Enjoy the 4 acre, entirely secluded stay in the depths of nature- a wildlife haven- in a large, lakefront, luxury yurt nestled in the woods. Located on a peninsula between two lakes, the large lake system offers endless hours of exploring with a paddle. The yurt is equipped with a full kitchen, wood stove, washroom, sleeping loft, separate bedroom, futon, laundry machine, and a hot tub! Completely unwind and listen to the owls every night, while cozying up by the fire.

McIntosh Castle near downtown Kingston

Experience the grandeur of Kingston’s fairy-tale “McIntosh Castle”; a one-of-a-kind property. The petite one-and-a-half-storey castle was built in 1852 by Scottish shipowner Donald McIntosh and was lovingly restored in 2023 by local heritage carpenter, Peter Reid.
