Two of the bedrooms are furnished with pillow top queen-sized beds with plenty of closet space, while the master suite features a pillow top king-sized bed and stunning bathroom. Upon request, a queen-sized air mattress with full bedding can be provided. You can find large flat screen TVs in each of the bedrooms and in the living room, ready for all of your entertainment needs. Cook and dine easily in the fully furnished kitchen, equipped with appliances and cookware and dining area available to seat eight guests or ask us for options to bring a chef to cook for you and your guests! Each spa-like bathroom is supplied with complimentary toiletries and towels. The master en-suite features a fully marble shower and bathtub with surrounding shower heads, while the second bathroom features a marble sink and tub surround. If there's anything we can do to make your stay as comfortable let us know and were happy to help. Air mattress and pack and play available upon request 48 hours prior to check-in. Each guest will receive full access to the comforts of the penthouse suite through a front door key code. Uber and Lyft can get you just about anywhere in the city in 5-15 minutes. Paid Parking can be found all around the CBD. With cable, wifi, and a fully equipped kitchen including microwave, tea kettle, and coffee machine, you'll have all the comforts of home. Guests have full access to the backyard. Please respect quiet hours after 9 pm. The home, in classic New Orleans style, is split into two separate dwellings, with a shared backyard. I live on the other side of the duplex with my sweet miniature goldendoodle, Willie Nelson. I'm more then happy to interact or give you privacy. Parking is free on the street and there’s always ample parking. Walking a mile down Esplanade Ave to the French Quarter is lovely in the daytime. Ride shares and taxis are recommended everywhere in New Orleans at night, and the fare from Maison Laharpe to the Quarter is under $10, 5-7 minutes. Bus routes are nearby, as are Blue Bike rentals. You can also take an inexpensive Uber or Lyft a mile north to City Park or a mile south to the French Quarter/Bywater or Downtown CBD/Warehouse District. Local city rental bikes are also available along Esplanade and are a great way to see the city. No smoking, parties, or pets. It is not a shared space. We live on the property so if there is something you need, we can quickly respond and assist you. The home is in the historic, offbeat Marigny district, known for its bistros, bars, and music venues, adored by locals as well as vacationers. Walk to the French Quarter, Bywater, and Frenchman Street. Public transport and bike rental are close by. Located steps away from the St Claude bus line and a 8 minute walk to the St Claude streetcar line, both can take you to every part of the city. Walk or bike to Frenchman St and the French Quarter.
