Excellent base from which to explore the Highlands, easy to day trip to the Cairngorm mountains, the West coast, Loch Ness, Whisky Distilleries and superb golf courses. 200m to the beautiful sandy beaches and the harbour of Nairn. Nairn is close to Inverness Airport (9 miles) and is easily accessible by rail.

Filled with art and antiques this comfortable and much loved home from home is an ideal base from which to explore Nairn and the surrounding area. Bliss Cottage

Bliss Cottage is a secluded 18th century, one bedroom retreat set in 55 acres of Meadows and Woodlands. It is a part of the Knock Grena Highland Estate. This historic property was the home of Scottish explorer James Augustus Grant. Bliss cottage was added to the big house for the men to enjoy their after dinner whiskey and smoke. It has been lovingly restored and boasts a four poster bedroom that is designed to give you deep peace and restoration, far from the noise, far from the hurry...

Just ten minutes by car from Inverness town centre we are in a beautiful rural location on the Black Isle. Finished to a high standard, our bright and airy property has excellent facilities, and is somewhere you can relax, and use as your base for walking, cycling, or touring. We have a large garden which you are welcome to use, and a secure shed for cyclists to store bikes.
