Located in the hip SE Hawthorne neighborhood on a quiet residential street and at the foot of Mt Tabor, this custom house provides a luxurious and convenient studio for relaxed stays and enjoyment of all that Portland has to offer. We designed this studio specifically for visitors who want the ease and security of a private entrance, the warmth (or coolness) of radiant-floor temperature control, and comfort. The front gate opens into a private, landscaped courtyard landscaped with jasmine, a Japanese maple tree, rhododendrons, and ferns. We are conveniently located near Mt Tabor Park that has walking trails and a spectacular view of the city. We are also close to several popular neighborhoods with shops, cafés, and restaurants. We welcome people of all backgrounds to stay here and enjoy beautiful Portland.

Our guest house is a completely private space, accessible by an outdoor walkway, and has an outdoor patio. We designed the space to be light-filled, feel cozy yet roomy, fitting a lot into a small space. Vaulted ceilings, a ceiling fan, full kitchen, bathroom, a bed alcove with a comfy queen mattress and soft bedding and lots of extra touches. Our 335 sq ft guest house is fitted with all you'll need for your time in Portland.

Enjoy all the comforts of home in this secluded private apartment with views of the surrounding bamboo grove and trees. The bedroom has a queen size bed. The space includes a glass room. Cots can be set up for sleeping in it in the warmer months. To enter the space go through the gate at the end of the driveway then through the backyard to enter at the glass room.
